Slic3r 1.3.0-dev is a STL-to-GCODE translator for RepRap 3D printers ![]() Out: Unknown option: info /Users/path/to/Desktop/STL_Files/GEAR.stl Params = "-info /Users/path/to/Desktop/STL_Files/GEAR.stl" If I use a command such as -info (see Slic3r docs under repairing models for more info) using the same script I get: Pl_script = subprocess.Popen(, stdout=sys.stdout) If I type the commands I want to use directly into the terminal, it works as it should, however, if I try to use python's subprocess, it works for some commands but not others.įor example if I use my script to fetch the Slic3r version using the syntax outlined in the docs, it works correctly. I want to write a python script to automate some processes, which is the language I know best. ![]() The popular 3D printer slicing engine, Slic3r, has the ability to use command line usage, which is written in Perl. When I attempt to connect to /boot/efi I get a permission denied message.I am trying to create a python script that runs a perl script on the Mac terminal. I downloaded the update ( MacbookProEFIUpdate.DMG), but I am not sure how to install the firmware. it refers to 320GB drive (which matches mine) correcting issue that causes intermittent freezing. I found an EFI Firmware 1.9 update that might be relevant. The firmware on the apple site seems to have a different format. Output of sudo dmidecode -s bios-version is 03.0906151647, Total used free shared buff/cache availableĪfter that it froze requiring hard reboot Here is the output of the last few entries before it froze: total used free shared buff/cache available To try and answer the request, I ran this script output to log file: for (( )) when system freezes, only thing that works is hard reset which loses everything. I had opened a ticket on the slic3r app site and provided a copy of the file, but they were able to process the file. My laptop freezes when running Slic3r app on Ubuntu 18.04 to prepare a 3d print. ![]()
